Cut, laminate, cut again...

I'm up to my elbows in laminating today thanks to the things I bought during the TPT sale. I want to send a BIG THANK YOU to all my followers who purchased things this weekend! If there is anything you'd ever like me to add to my store, don't hesitate to ask! I teach 3 grade levels so I have stock piles of different materials I use for each grade.

Laminating just became sooo much easier thanks to today's purchase at Target! I just got a Scotch laminator for $28 and it's so worth it already! My school is almost 30 miles from where I live, so it's not practical to drive that far just to laminate during the summer and weekends. Plus it's locked in a special room and I can only use it during very small portions of the day during the school year. Even better yet, this laminator is way better than the one at school. Things come out so much more sturdy. Plus I can control how things sit next to each other so there's no more accidentally laminating 2 things together! I mean really, how did I go through 6 years of teaching without knowing I could buy one this cheap that works?!

I clearly am not the only teacher working before summer break is over. I'm meeting up with at least 2 other teachers tomorrow to do some planning. What's wrong with us?! I think I may be the go-to person for K-6 as we implement a common core system. One of the teacher's on our team is a total pro and so I'm sure we'll be working together on this stuff.
